DID Creation can only be used on ISO 24727 based cards, because the CardInfo model does not allow to create new DIDs, only alter them.

If that model should be implemented a way to bind a new CardInfo file to one distinct card, not a card type, is needed. As far as I see, this is not possible with the CardInfo based model, as it is not easily possible to find a characteristic which sets one card apart in an automated fashion.

Please comment on this, so we can decide whether to leave this ticket open, or to close it.

On a very high flight altitude this could be related to a more comprehensive key generation and certificate enrolment process. This should be discussed further, if the time is ripe for this.
