Description

When authenticating at the GDV-Maklerportal (www.gdv-maklerportal.de) using the open ecard client fails with a SAML-response of "Die Version der anfragenden AusweisApp ist zu alt." (see attached file).

GDV is using the eid-service of the Bundesdruckerei and I assume the same issue with all other sites using this service. Is this error-message covered by the protocol-specification or is the bundesdruckerei violating the spec?

This is actually a violation by both parties (Bundesdruckerei and Open eCard). Details of the problem can be found in issue #262. Especially note 6, 7 and 8. We will provide a fix with the newer AusweisApp version shortly.
There are remaining issues with the specification (see #314) before the methodology can be changed (#313).
