Test Case nPA signature (ecsec enables german eid card for electronic signatures)?
Added by K. N. over 6 years ago
I read the article: https://www.openecard.org/en/news/details/date/2018/03/22/ecsec-enables-german-eid-card-for-electronic-signatures/
Is there any test case for the nPA signature process for e.g. an PDF? Any practical example?
Thanks a lot

Signing with the German eID card based on the ChipGateway-approach, which has been presented yesterday and which is about to be standardised within OASIS (see https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/60049/ChipGateway-Specification-OASIS.pdf) requires no "Komfortleser" attached to the Client, but only a "Basisleser" or a suitable smartphone. On the other side, this approach requires a ChipGateway-Server and some web-based frontend (e.g. within the https://eid.as Portal). Please refer to the attached figures. What we presented yesterday was a sneak preview of the process. The formal quality assurance process of the involved components is still ongoing. We will hopefully be able to announce the public availability soon. So, please stay tuned! ;-)
