Caused by: sun.security.smartcardio.PCSCException: Unknown error 0x54f
    at sun.security.smartcardio.PCSC.SCardConnect(Native Method)
    at sun.security.smartcardio.CardImpl.<init>(Unknown Source)

I suppose only Reiner can answer what the error code 0x54f means.

Unless there is a way to reproducibly trigger this error, there is nothing I can do.

This also has nothing to do with the service used, as the error happens during the connect of the card as shown in the last comment.

Java smartcardio has been replaced with a better JNA based version. Apart from that the error is as stated 2 years ago only indicated by a internal error code.

Feel free to reopen the issue in case this still occurs in current versions of the OeC.
